Maxwell Charity Auction for the NZ Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation

Date: 16 Sep 2013

Maxwell has created a limited edition Pink Anchor Windlass (winch) and one of these stunning units will be auctioned off during the period ending Friday, 4 October 2013, with 100% of the final winning bid going to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

The innovative HRCFF (Free Fall) windlass is packed with original and proven features including Maxwell’s patented rode management system, and comes as a complete, ready to install package with all necessary equipment required for dual direction control.
Now incorporating Maxwell's automatic free-fall technology, the HRCFF is simple to use. Merely activate the windlass Free Fall lever, operate your down control (helm station or foot switch) and the windlass will freefall your anchor. Ready to lift the anchor? Activate the up control, and the free fall device automatically disengages, allowing you to power up your anchor.

Aesthetically pleasing above deck design, encapsulating the motor and drive in a watertight case, savesg space below deck and allows simple routine maintenance. The die cast, marine-grade, alloy case is hard anodized for unsurpassed marine protection, and this “Special Edition” unit is finished in Pink especially for the Breast Cancer Awareness charity auction.

Depending upon your rope/chain requirements particular to your boat, the HRCFF can be used with 12mm to 14mm nylon rope spliced to 6mm to 8mm short link chain, making it suitable for boats from four metres to fourteen meters, depending on the boat's displacement.

VETUS-Maxwell will be displaying this Special Edition Pink HRCFF Windlass on their stand at the Auckland On Water Boat Show at Viaduct Harbour from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 30 September. Come and see what you will be bidding for at Pavilion 2 – stand 220A. Not only is this a great opportunity to grab yourself a top of the line Maxwell “Special Edition” winch; you will also be supporting NZBCF. With a retail value of over $2,000.00, this is a great chance to grab a bargain and support a worthy cause at the same time. Visit: http://trade.me/Vetus-Maxwell
