Vetus-Maxwell launches their flag ship McLay 690
Date: 29 May 2012
Vetus-Maxwell APAC (Asia Pacific) has launched their new Vetus-Maxwell promotional boat. Built in conjunction with New Zealand boat-builder, McLay Boats, this 6.9 metre trailer boat carries an extensive range of Vetus and Maxwell marine equipment.
Although Maxwell is recognised for its anchoring equipment suitable for a wide range of vessels from 5 metres to over 50 metres, Vetus equipment is generally thought of as being suitable for boats in the 10 to 20 metre range. Vetus-Maxwell APAC intends to change this misconception with the Vetus-Maxwell McLay 690. Fitted with a vast array of Vetus marine equipment from bow thruster to windshield wipers, and everything in between, the Vetus-Maxwell boat was unveiled at May’s Hutchwilco Boat Show in Auckland.
