Maxwell Multiple Successes in Asian Superyacht Market
Date: 29 Jun 2011
Maxwell Marine seriously entered the Asian boat building market over two decades ago with the aim of becoming the premier anchoring systems supplier to the emerging Superyacht industry in this part of the world; mainly in Taiwan and China.
Now, over 15 years later, Maxwell dominates this sector of the Asian market. The list of high profile Asian Superyacht builders who repeatedly fit Maxwell anchoring systems on every one of their builds is long indeed; containing such distinguished names as Horizon Yachts, Ta Shing (Nordhavn), Jade Yachts, Kha Shing, Cheoy Lee, Kingship, IAG, Tricon and many, many others.
Recently, a number of Chinese yards launched notable vessels; all Maxwell equipped. IAG with their first boat, Primadonna (refer image), Tricon’s new NISI 2400 and Cheoy Lee’s Marco Polo, to name but a few.
Mid way through 2011 Maxwell’s order book for Superyacht anchoring equipment destined for Asia is, once again, looking healthy with several impressive “big boat” builds under way throughout the Asian region.
